At launch, GardenFactGuide has not joined any affiliate program. This page exists ahead of that, per our own editorial standard: affiliate disclosure must be live before the first affiliate link, not added afterwards.
Some articles may in future carry affiliate links (for example, to Amazon AU Associates or an Australian home-and-garden affiliate network). If you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and the price you pay is the same either way.
How you can tell
Any page carrying a live affiliate link will display a disclosure notice near the top. Article listing pages will note it too.
What it will never affect
Commission will never influence:
- Which products appear in an article
- The order they appear in
- The verdict or recommendation
- Any safety position
Where there will be no commercial links at all
Content touching chemical rates, toxicity, biosecurity or legal/regulatory subjects (see our editorial policy) carries no commercial links, ever.
Programs
We do not add tracking parameters to a link ourselves, and we never fabricate a tracking identifier for a program we have not joined. This page will be updated with real program names the moment any account is actually created — see our about page’s launch-track monetisation note.
